EdTech Posse Podcast 5.3 – at Winston's Pub

Almost all of the Posse – Rick, Dean, Alec and Rob (we’re still waiting for Heather to return) got together in Saskatoon this week to attend the IT Summit conference. After the first day’s presentations finished we gathered with some friends – Kathy Cassidy, Dean Loberg (time to start blogging again, Dean), Kyle Lichtenwald and Clarence Fisher – at Winston’s Pub for food, refreshments and a great conversation.

EdTech Posse Podcast 5.2 – Recorded live in Ustream

It was another great conversation last night with Rick, Dean and Alec. We streamed the conversation in Ustream so we had 30ish friends of the Posse in the chat room. Thanks again to everyone who took time from their schedule to join us.

EdTech Posse Podcast 5.1 – Icky Flickr people and balancing open-ness

We’re back with the start of another year of podcasts. In this show, recorded on January 15 2008, we begin by discussing Alec’s post about icky people on Flickr (and how to deal with them). From there the conversation just goes everywhere, as it usually does. Enjoy the show!

Ewan McIntosh came over from Scotland to share a pint and a pretty decent conversation with us. Rob Wall, Alec Couros, Dean Shareski, Cindy Seibel and Kyle Lichtenwald sat down with Ewan at Bobby’s Tavern in Moose Jaw.

A big thanks to Dean for hosting a great get together in his home city.

EdTech Posse 4.2 – planning for TLt

We – Rob, Heather, Alec and Rick (Dean was with us in spirit) – will be presenting at the 2008 Teaching and Learning with Technology conference in Saskatoon. We had a brief planning session (pretty indicative of how much preparation we put into a presentation) on May 11. I recorded and turned it into a podcast.

I’m hoping to record some conversations with some of the conference speakers and attendees then release them as podcasts.

EdTech Posse 4.1 – live with D'Arcy Norman

D’Arcy Norman joined us for this latest podcast to talk about photography, 366 photos and eduglu (you can see a prototype at the eduglu sandbox) as well as a number of different tangents in conversation. We also streamed the conversation live on ustream (thanks to Alec for making that work). The combination made for a terrific conversation and show.
